Dance Action is a unique and innovative dance studio with trailblazing programs for boys and girls to engage, challenge and inspire all who attend. The Dance Action community includes a supportive and engaged parenting community, student teachers and mentors, exciting dance events, guest teachers and outstanding dance and acrobatics programs. Classes include Breaking, Hip Hop, Boys Technique, Jazz, Lyrical and Acrobatics and Acting. Students build confidence and resilience through application of growth mindset and positive psychology tools.

Dance Action’s renowned boys program saw over 150 boys per week engaging in dance in 2020. Tanya launched her boys program for studio owners across Australia in 2020 to assist in attracting and retaining boys in studios, and to keep more boys in dance. Tanya’s CONNECT boys dance event has continued to unite the male dance community across Sydney and Australia. Dance Action has been operating in Gladesville since 1990 under the direction of Tanya Carne.
